Picking Up
You will be picking up your puppy from our business, P.R.A.I.S.E. Ranch, LLC. Here is our google link, so you can get directions: Google Link

Upon Pick Up
I will provide you with your pup’s weight and deworming schedule. You will also get the full vet exam provided by my vet. This information will be for you to take to your veterinarian when you go for your first puppy appointment.
On the ride home, it is best to hold the puppy or / put him/her in the passenger seat. Putting your puppy in a cage with only frighten the puppy further. New people, new car, new sounds…each of these can be scary. If you can hold, pet, and comfort, it will help the bond between you and your new fur-baby. A rattling cage away from you is not beneficial in any way to the puppy.
After Adoption

Verification Forms
Each puppy from Regency Ranch needs to have the required verification forms completed. You will need to print the required forms, have them signed by a veterinarian, and then send the form to Regency via email or text.
The Verification of Veterinary Services Form should be presented to your veterinarian the time of the puppy’s first veterinary exam. Please return the form to Regency no later than five weeks after you adopt the puppy. Since this puppy is being adopted with limited registration, the Verification of Sterilization Form should be signed at the time of spaying/neutering and is to be returned to Regency by the time your dog is 25 months old.
**If you have a female and allow her to go through heat, you need to make sure she is not bred. If you have a male and decide to allow him to reach sexual maturity, you need to make sure that he does not help produce a litter of puppies.
Please remember that neutering after your male reaches sexual maturity (around 8 months) will not guarantee he will lose the “traits” that come along with sexual maturity such as marking, trying to breed, hyperactivity, and roaming. If you need additional information to decide when you want to spay/neuter your dog, you should consider reviewing the articles on our website. There is one that is titled “Spay and Neuter Considerations” that is extremely informative.
Microchip:

Your puppy will already be microchipped when you come to take him/her home. The microchip will already be registered and an email will be sent to you from 24 Petwatch. Remember: Regency Ranch must always stay as a tertiary emergency contact on your pup’s microchip.
You can also register your puppy’s microchip through Regency Reunite. This service provides your puppy with a pet tag containing a QR code linked to your puppy’s chip. If your puppy gets lost, anyone can scan the tag and contact you immediately. This option includes a one-time fee of $10.00 for the tag, and the registration is included in the fee. If you are interested in this service, please select the option when you fill out your family questionnaire, and the tag will be available for you to pick up.
If the microchip tag ever wears to the point it cannot be read, it is beneficial to purchase a replacement tag. Without a tag, many people do not consider that your pup is microchipped.
